It is a story of romance between a Mohican-raised white man and a British officer's daughter who meet in colonial America during the battles between the French and English.

In 18th century North America during the French and Indian War, a white man adopted by the last members of a dying tribe called the Mohicans unwittingly becomes the protector of the two daughters of a British colonel, who have been targeted by Magua, a sadistic and vengeful Huron warrior who has dedicated his life to destroying the girls' father for a past injustice.

The only two Mohicans are left as well as one adopted white man. These three men refuse to enter the militia for English in 1757 for they want freedom. On their way to Kentucky, the intercept Indians attacked a small regiment of British including the two daughters of an English Colonel on their way to a fort. The three men lead the survivors to the fort while two love stories take place but the French and Indian War continues.

I think their hearts are strong and full of brave, their spirit are pure and noble. In spite of the character, I see, through The Last of Mohicans, the inhumanity of the greediness and the cruelty of the war. The last of the Mohicans should be Uncas, the one who is young and with hope, but only his father Chingachgook alive and became the last Mohicans in the end of the book. Sigh..

The movie encourages me to respect and treasure what I already have and I don't have. Everything we see, we feel is so beautiful that we should cherish them instead of perish. This is why I'm so moved by the movie.
